IAWA members and Board members attended the yearly Annual Meeting of the Wings where IAWA co-sponsors a reception and jointly award the Outstanding Aviator Award. This year our recipient was US Air Force B.G Leavitt, one of the highest-ranking women in the Air Force and a pioneer for women having been a first in flying several fighters for the US Air Force. She is an inspiring role model for all of us and her perseverance combined with true aviation passion allowed to break the glass ceiling and pave the way. Click here to view photos from the event.
