Negotiation is relevant to everyone. It happens everywhere, every day. However, we still view negotiation as a specialized skill mastered by experts and women, in particular, tend to shy away.
 
In this empowering webinar, we will delve into the art of negotiation and its significance in women's lives, both personally and professionally. Debra Santos, IAWA President-Elect COO & Affiliations

Debra Santos has over 40 years of International Aviation experience. She worked for The Boeing Company for over 34 years. She began her career in engineering working in customer support and product development. Debra held several leadership positions such as Brand manager for the 777 program, Director of Competitive Strategy, Director of International Sales, Director of European Marketing, Chief Marketing Officer for BGS and Director Business Development. As Director of International Sales and Director of Business Development she negotiated contracts with airlines and suppliers.

Debra served in the United States Navy reserve from 1985-1995 as an Aeronautical Duty Officer. She has a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in industrial management from California State University Long Beach. She has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington. Debra is an alumnus of Said Business School, University of Oxford where she studied strategy scenario planning.

Currently, Debra is active in the World Affairs Council, serves on the Queen Ann Community council in Seattle and volunteers for several nonprofit organizations. As long-time member of IAWA, she serves as President Elect for the Board.

Her passion is the development and promotion of women leaders in the Aviation and Aerospace Industry.






Jennifer Urban

Jenny Ann Urban most recently served as a Manager in Transport and Logistics at PwC Middle East. In her work at PwC Middle East, she acted as a Subject Matter Expert advising high-level government executives on topics covering regulations and compliance, government affairs, legislative drafting, cybersecurity, data privacy, emerging technologies, and new mobility throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

An international aviation attorney by trade, Jenny Ann combines legal expertise with business acumen to develop unique market strategies to enhance the passenger journey through airport concessions. Prior to PwC Middle East, she served as the Director of Aviation Relations and Compliance for a biometric technology platform, a crisis management consultant, and an associate at the international law firms of Cozen O’Connor and K&L Gates LLP in Washington DC, New York, and South Carolina. Her practice primarily focused on aviation matters, including unmanned aircraft systems. She counseled clients, including major U.S. and foreign passenger and cargo airlines, entities involved in the commercial uses of drones, trade associations, airports, aircraft equipment, air travel distribution companies, and other aviation industry participants on compliance with laws, policies, and regulations. Additionally, she advised clients within the maritime, cybersecurity, energy, technology, and manufacturing industries.

Jenny Ann is an internationally acclaimed public speaker, an award-winning aviation author, and a 2019 Airport Business Top 40 Under 40 honoree. A strong advocate for introducing the next generation to aviation, she serves as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern New Mexico University and a member of ATL’s Aviation Education Program Advisory Committee.

An avid Ole Miss Rebels fan, Jenny Ann earned her LL.M. in Air and Space Law, J.D., M.B.A., and B.A. in Public Policy Leadership and Political Science all from the University of Mississippi. Hotty Toddy!





Keren Rambow
GE Aerospace

Keren is the Vice President of Americas Commercial Engines and Services. In this role, she manages a large team supporting customer relationships and deal strategies for the North and Latin American and is responsible the success of GE Aerospace’s customers in the region.

Keren joined GE Aerospace in 2016 as a Commercial Engines Sales Director and was promoted to General Manager of GE Aviation for Australia and New Zealand and Regional General Manager for South Asia Pacific Commercial Engines Sales. In 2020 she supported the GE Aerospace Services business as the Services Marketing Executive based in Cincinnati.

A graduate of the Australian Defence Force Academy, Keren served 15 years in the Royal Australian Air Force as an Avionics Engineer on the F/A-18 Hornet. After leaving the RAAF in 2004, she co-founded a military aerospace company, Pacific Aerospace Consulting, that specializes in military avionics engineering services for the US Department of Defense and the Australian Defence Force.

Keren holds a Bachelor of Science, an Honors degree in High Energy Astro-Physics, a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree and an MBA (Technology).

Tracey Forbes
Mourant

Tracey Forbes is Counsel in the Cayman Islands Corporate and Finance practice of Mourant. Tracey joined Mourant's Cayman Islands office in 2012, then worked in Mourant's Hong Kong office for 8 years and returned to the Cayman Islands office in 2022.

Tracey advises on a broad spectrum of cross-border transactions, including asset finance (with a particular focus on aviation), acquisition and leveraged finance, fund finance, debt restructurings and general corporate lending.

Tracey has significant expertise in aircraft financing transactions, including helping major financial institutions, lessors and investors on a variety of transactions, such as the financing and leasing of commercial aircraft, corporate jets and other related assets, including engines and helicopters, across a variety of structures. Tracey also advises on repossessions, restructurings and transitional aircraft registrations as well as the finance and leasing of ships and other vessels.

Tracey holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from the University of Liverpool, a Master of Laws with distinction in International Legal Practice (specialism in Corporate and Commercial Law) from the University of Law, Manchester and she completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, Manchester.
