IAWA is proud to be supporting the annual Swinburne Connect event in Hawthorn, Australia.
This invite-only event brings together members of our aviation and aerospace community for an evening of connection, celebration, conversation, and shared learning. The program will feature a keynote address and panel discussion, showcasing diverse perspectives across the sector and celebrating the achievements of women in aviation and aerospace. We are delighted to welcome Kristen Raby, Director, Airborne and Defence Business Development at Leidos Australia, as our keynote speaker. Kristen brings more than 30 years of experience across aviation, aerospace and defence, including an extensive career in flight testing, engineering and senior leadership.

Lakshmi Vadlamoodi, recipient of the 2025 IAWA Scholarship and Aviation Safety Officer at ASL Airlines Australia

Sarah Doherty, Air Traffic Controller, Airservices Australia
